Connect to last week's session on zoom. 
The Education Act 1944 is legislation that stipulated Education became free and compulsory for children aged 5 - 15 years. It also promised secondary education for all children. 
The purpose of this legislation was to support an education reform where children were now required to attend school and leave at a specific age.
